Service Quality Centre (now a member of MDIS) was set up in Singapore in 1990 as a joint-venture between Singapore Airlines and Singapore Productivity Board as part of the government’s effort to raise service standards in Singapore.

In 1993, Service Quality Centre Indonesia was formed, joint-venture partners are Service Quality Centre and Salim Group with the mission of helping organizations in Indonesia succeed in service excellence. It ran its first service quality training class at its Bootcamp in Cicurug, Sukabumi. Since then Service Quality Centre Indonesia has been offering a comprehensive range of training programmes and services to hundreds of clients from private and public sectors in Indonesia to partner them in their service transformation journey.
